Summary: Our Guide, Zaid, was extremely knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions. The experience of knowing that slavery was horrible, but learning that it was more horrific for our ancestors than I knew. The emotions that standing in the spaces where these horrors took place, were raw. How ever, walking through the Door Of Returns, created a connection to my people of the Motherland that will never be forgotten.

Summary: Insightful historical day at Cape Coast and Elmina castle. Learnt on a lot on this tour about the transatlantic slave trade. our tour guide Xade and driver were professionals, they arrive on time for pickup. Even though I was a solo traveler they made me feel safe and everything went on smoothly. The highlight of the tour was the Kakum canopy walk, I was able to conquer my fear of heights a little bit 😀. I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to explore Ghana.
